Notifier Fire Alarm Parts — New, Refurbished & Obsolete
Notifier has one of the largest installed bases of commercial fire alarm equipment in the United States — and QuickShipFire stocks the broadest cross-section of Notifier components outside the authorized distributor channel. New, refurbished and obsolete Notifier parts for NFS, NFS2, ONYX and legacy AFP/AM2020 systems. Shipped from a single US warehouse since 2017.
Notifier: Decades of US Commercial Fire Alarm
Notifier was founded in 1949 and became a Honeywell company in 1996. Today Notifier sits inside Honeywell’s Fire Safety business alongside Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, System Sensor and Gamewell FCI. The brand’s engineered-systems positioning has made it the default specification for hospitals, federal buildings, universities and Class A commercial high-rises across the United States.
The Notifier panel lineage covers most modern intelligent fire alarm:
- AFP-200 / AFP-300 / AFP-400 — first-generation addressable platforms still in service in many older buildings.
- AM2020 / AFP1010 — large intelligent networked systems for high-rise and campus applications.
- NFS-320 / NFS-640 — workhorse mid-size intelligent panels with a massive installed base.
- NFS2-3030 / NFS2-640 / NFS2-320 — current production and the standard specification for new engineered projects.
- ONYX FirstVision — the responder-information platform extending NFS2 for first-responder needs.
Whether you’re running an AFP-200 from 1998 or an ONYX-equipped NFS2-3030 from this year, Notifier’s product depth — and obsolescence — is exactly where QuickShipFire fits.

Notifier Compatibility & Cross-Reference
The most common Notifier question we field: “My NFS-320 needs an FSP-851 but the distributor only has FSP-951 — will it work?” Almost always yes, with the caveat that the NFS-320’s firmware revision may need to be updated to recognize the newer device’s polling signature.
| Legacy Notifier Part | Current Replacement | Compatibility Notes |
|---|---|---|
| FSP-851 | FSP-951 | Same B210LP base; verify NFS panel firmware revision. |
| FSP-851T | FSP-951T | Photo-thermal; backward-compatible at base. |
| FST-851 | FST-951 | Thermal-only; same base; verify fixed-temp rating. |
| FMM-1 | FMM-101 | Smaller footprint; rewire may be needed. |
| FCM-1 | FCM-1-REL | Relay form-factor change; verify mounting. |
| FZM-1 | FZM-1 (legacy) | No drop-in replacement; legacy stock or panel upgrade. |
| SDX-551 | FSP-851 → FSP-951 | Two-generation jump; panel may need re-mapping. |
| NFS-320 | NFS2-320 | Database not portable; reprogramming required. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is QuickShipFire an authorized Notifier distributor?
No. QuickShipFire is an independent reseller. We stock Notifier products but are not an authorized Notifier distributor. We work in the secondary market — new, new-old-stock and refurbished — which is why we can stock discontinued SKUs that authorized distributors no longer carry.
Do you stock the current NFS2-3030 and NFS2-640 panels?
Yes, both current-production NFS2 platforms ship from our warehouse, along with supporting cards (PDI, IDC, NAC), CPUs, batteries and annunciators. For complex multi-panel networked specifications, please submit the bill of materials through our quote form so we can verify the full SLC and NCM-W configuration before quoting.
Can I get Notifier programming tools and software through QuickShipFire?
Notifier programming software and dongles are licensed by Honeywell exclusively through the authorized engineered-systems distributor channel. We do not sell or distribute Notifier programming licenses. For panel programming, contact a Notifier-authorized service provider — we will ship the hardware that programmer needs.
How fast can you ship Notifier parts?
Most in-stock Notifier items ship the same day if your order is placed before noon Eastern Time. Ground transit anywhere in the continental US is typically 2 to 5 business days. Expedited and overnight shipping are available at checkout for urgent jobsite needs.
Are the refurbished Notifier panels you sell code-legal?
Yes. A UL-listed Notifier panel that has been removed from service, bench-tested and verified to perform within Notifier’s published specifications carries the same listing as a new panel — provided no listed components have been changed. See our New vs Refurbished Fire Alarm Panels guide.
What’s the difference between Notifier and Fire-Lite?
Both are Honeywell brands. Notifier is positioned as the engineered-systems brand (specified by engineers, installed by certified contractors). Fire-Lite is positioned as the contractor brand (commodity addressable panels for general commercial). They share some core technology — System Sensor detectors, similar SLC architectures — but the panels, programming tools and service channels are separate.
Do you ship Notifier parts internationally?
QuickShipFire ships across the United States from a single US warehouse. We do not currently offer international shipping. For Canadian projects, please contact us and we can refer you to suitable cross-border channels.
