The Fire-Lite SD365-IV is an intelligent, addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for commercial and industrial fire alarm systems that require reliable smoldering-fire detection. Manufactured by Honeywell Fire-Lite Alarms, this ivory-colored detector uses a patented chamber design that minimizes false alarms while maintaining high sensitivity to slow-developing smoke conditions typically caused by overheated wiring, smoldering upholstery, and electrical fires.
The SD365-IV is the direct factory replacement for the discontinued SD355-IV. Existing installations using SD355 series detectors can upgrade to the SD365-IV without modifying field wiring, control panel programming, or detector base hardware. The detector is fully compatible with the B300-6-IV (6-inch standard base), B501-IV (sounder base), and B200S-IV (intelligent sounder base), giving fire-alarm contractors flexibility to match existing system aesthetics.
This addressable smoke detector supports both LiteSpeed and CLIP communication protocols, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with Fire-Lite MS-9050UD, MS-9200UDLS, ES-50X, ES-200X, and ES-1000X fire alarm control panels. The rotary address switches allow technicians to assign addresses 01-159 in the field without needing a programming tool.
The SD365-IV is UL 268 listed, ULC certified for Canadian installations, FM approved, CSFM listed, and complies with NFPA 72 requirements. It operates on 15-32 VDC, has an alarm current draw of 6.5 mA at 24 VDC, and offers an operating temperature range of 32 to 100 degrees F.
